- Open your machine and ensure the water level in your water reservoir tank is good.
- Close your machine.
- When closing the machine make sure the water tubing entering the water reservoir is not pinched.
- Start by installing a brand new disposable tip. Replace both parts of the tip.
- Make sure your machine is on.
- You shouldn't hear any air leaks at this time. If you do hear air leaking from the machine, turn your machine off and check the dosing chamber lids for tightness. Turn your machine back on. Listen again for any air leaks. Eliminate any air leaks before continuing.
- Press the foot pedal to position 2.
- In approximately 30 to 45 seconds you should see water coming from the hand piece.
- If you don't see water coming from the hand piece go to step 10. If water does exit the hand piece then your machine is ready for use.
- Change the disposable tips one more time, trying your machine, again looking for water to exit the hand piece.
- If no water exits the hand piece after two tries, remove the upper line of twin tubing from the front of your machine and place the tubing into a cup of warm water.
- Press the foot pedal to position 2 with the tubing still in the cup of warm water. Keep the foot pedal depressed for 30 to 45 seconds. If no water exits after the allotted time, change the check valve located in the twin tubing closest to your machine. Note: Older units will not have a changeable check valve. These can easily be upgraded to the newer style. Contact Tech Support for the newer part number.
- Try operating your machine again with the tubing still in your cup of warm water. If water exits the hand piece in 30 to 45 seconds remove the tubing from the cup of warm water and push the tubing back on to the front of your machine. Try your machine again. Press the foot pedal to position 2 and look for water exiting the hand piece in 30 to 45 seconds. You will still have residual water in your tubing that came from the cup, so give your check a good 30 to 45 seconds to ensure the water exiting your hand piece is in fact coming from your water reservoir. If water continues to exit your hand piece then you are ready to use your machine again.
- If water from your hand piece stops flowing after 30 to 45 seconds, you may need a technician to look at your machine. Most likely at this point the problem with no water flow will point to a machine problem, and not a problem with your tubing or your hand piece.
